Hair, Heart & Hope: Giving Back Through What We Do

This is the part of our story that means the most to us.

At Saranya Lee, we've always believed that a salon can be more than a place to get your hair done. It can be a place that gives back. That's why we created Hair, Heart & Hope — our initiative that connects what we do every day with causes that genuinely change lives.

Each May, we dedicate two full weeks to raising funds for two organisations that are incredibly close to our hearts: Destiny Rescue and Bendigo Foodshare. During this time, $50 from every appointment goes directly to supporting their work.

Here's how it works: when you book during our Hair, Heart & Hope campaign, you receive two $25 stickers with your name on them. You place them on our Wall of Impact and choose which charity you'd like to support. It's a small act, but it's a powerful one — and seeing our wall fill up with names each year is one of the most rewarding things we experience as a team.

Destiny Rescue works to rescue children from human trafficking and exploitation, giving them safety and a path toward a brighter future. Bendigo Foodshare ensures families and individuals in our own community have access to nutritious food when they need it most.

To date, Hair, Heart & Hope has raised over $11,250, and we're only getting started. Every dollar came from our clients — from people who chose to sit in our chairs and, in doing so, became part of something bigger. We're endlessly grateful for that.
